  • FSA

Your FSA eligible health care expenses are things that are not being covered by insurance, of course, your FSA plan may include many more services and items than just the “ones” not covered by the insurance. Also, you are not going to be the only one to benefit from your FSA fund, but your spouse, children, and anyone that qualifies as an eligible dependent. However, to know which specific services and items are covered by your FSA, you’ll have to check all of your account’s specifics with your employer or plan’s administrator. While some plans may include making direct payments to healthcare providers, many of the providers themselves will offer you an FSA card to make direct purchases just like you’d do with any regular card.

This can be quite convenient for you as it’d ease direct purchases, as well as online purchases a lot. In addition, we will check some of the FSA eligible items and services.

  • Sunglasses lenses: preventing the bright sunlight from causing discomfort and damage to our eyes so, a good quality pair of sunglasses lenses is a must. People with light sensitivity may use their FSA funds to get non-prescription sunglasses. Also, you have a variety to choose from the polarized, blue, photochromic, or anti-reflective lens. Also, you have multiple high-quality brands to choose from like Guess, Balenciaga, Carrera and many more.
  • Eye exam: an exam with a medical professional is eligible for reimbursement with your FSA
  • Prescription eyeglasses: aside from the prescription eyeglass you are covered with reading glasses as well.
  • Contact lens: for your contact lens to be eligible for an FSA reimbursement remember that they have to be designed to correct vision problems.

Aside from all of the things above your FSA will cover everything from cleaning cloths, and lens storage cases to contact lens cleaning solution I.e. everything you need to prolong the lifespan of your eyewear.
